DFW Vapor

Inaction is the best path to irrelevance in almost any market, a fact that has never been more evident in the vapor industy than it is now. Where trends can evolve over a matter of weeks, the breakneck pulse of what vapor is and where its going demands a white-knuckled grip on trends in hardware, e-liquid, and the image of the increasingly entrenched vapor community.

Since the last quarter of 2014 the industry has seen the rise of sub-ohm tanks and powerful, user friendly regulated mods, throwing the importance of rebuildables and mechanical mods outside of competition use in question. Increased cloud-producing power in hardware has ignited a demand for higher VG e-liquid with more and better flavor. Despite these exciting trends, they've become a baseline for success in the vapor industry. It's much more than just being good at what you do; it's about distinguishing yourself from the sea of competition, and once there, anchoring yourself in the spotlight.

DFW Vapor's Director of Marketing Chris Robinson hears this every day from his customers. The Dallas Texas based DFW Vapor was founded at the inception of the vapor craze in 2009, and Robinson has been with the organization almost as long, helping the develop and market their own house brands of e-liquid while watching the market grow from disposable cartomizers and e-pens to the cloud chasing phenomenon it is now.

"Increase competition is great because it means the demand to improve is always there," Robinson admits. "It's not enough anymore to just make good juice. You have to respond to every detail; the packaging, flavors, and how you present products right down to the bottling are all a priority. If you don't deliver on the details, someone else will."
"When you do things better, it forces everyone to follow suit," he continues. "That ends up being good for everyone, not just you."
